Our hardcover books are made with 98 pt. binder's board that can then be covered with either a printed cover wrap, cloth or faux (imitation) leather material. With this binding method, the text pages are first glued together at the spine to create a "text block" Each end leaves then hold the text block to the inside of the cover casing and applied to the binding edge of the text block. The cover is created separately and then glued to the end leaves and text block, creating a book that will last for years.
 

Minimum and maximum page limits
The minimum number of pages that can be hard cover bound through a standard process is 20 and the maximum number of pages is 600. Books that are greater than 600 pages can not be bound as hardcover.
 

Preparing your hardcover book
We work exclusively with PDF files. You can convert your documents to PDFs using your own PDF converter either online or as a print driver on your own computer. When converting to PDF, please maintain the "highest resolution" and make sure your fonts are embedded.
 

Page Setup
Because of the binding process, we suggest allowing at least 15mm margin on the binding edge of each page of your book and at least 5mm margin at the top, bottom and outside edges of each page. This will place your page content in a more "centered" position. When setting up your PDF files, it is important to know that the first page of your PDF will be the first right-hand printed page of the book.

Cover Options
We offer three cover options for hardcover books: a full color printed cover, a cloth covering, and a faux (imitation) leather covering. Why not add that special touch and have a personalised laser etched cover to finish off your book. (This can be applied to cloth and faux leather covers only).
 

Available in any sizes
Our hardcover binding is available in A3, A4, A5, A6 any of these book sizes or in-between sizes in either portrait or landscape orientation.
